Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships 2009

Motion: This House Believes That The Sale Of Human Organs Should Be Legalized

There will be a round of debate held at Unity Secondary School on Friday, 13 March 2009, which is the last day of school (Term 1). As the Parent-Teacher-Meeting (PTM) is held on the same day, councillors who are on duty are also recommended to attend the debate after their duties at school.

Councillors who are interested in witnessing how a debate is like, or want get to know what a debate is all about, are recommended to attend the debate to support the school team. Also, this will be the final debate for the MSHS Debating Team this year. Councillors who are then interested in debating may also approach any one of the English teachers (Mrs Champion, Mdm Azlin, Ms Koh) that will be present at the debate

Two of our very own councillors, Dave Wong and Joel Lim, will be debating as well.

Nearest MRT Station: Yew Tee (5 minutes walk)

Date: 13 March 2009 (Friday)

Time of Debate: 8.30 PM

Attire: Preferably School Uniform (Home Clothes Are Allowed)

Dinner and transport will not provided, so councillors are advised to have their dinner before making their way down to Unity Secondary School by themselves.
